BABY QUILTS GALORE

We are getting ready for fall and Christmas sales so we are preparing inventory for those bazaars held in Bangkok.  With thanks to some women who made fabric donations to us, some beautiful baby quilts were created!  All the baby quilts are approximately 39 inches x 48 inches....and cost $26 unless otherwise noted.  These quilts are available now in Bangkok....or can be delivered in the US in September.  Let me know if you are interested!!

Some very cute dog fabric was donated and Sophoan made both of these quilts.  The children at the ministry center hovered over Sophoan as she made these two quilts as they just loved the dogs!!  Both of these quilts are made from 100 % cotton fabric.

The backing on this quilt has "I love Grandma" print!

 We still continue to make the Jim Thompson jungle quilts in boy blue and pink themes.  This quilt is made from 100% cotton and costs $30.




CHRISTMAS QUILTS:

Various Christmas winter scenes makes this a very fun quilt.  It measures 43 inches x 57 1/2 inches and costs $32.

Winter mittens measures 61 1/2 inches by 72 inches.

Cost: $47

Snowmen cowboys measures 51 inches by 61 1/2 inches.

Cost: $36

New Designs

Recently, while a friend of mine was in the US, she and her generous friends purchased many beautiful flannels for baby quilts and donated them to the quilting ladies.  Flannels - particularly with nice prints - are impossible to find here locally.  Here are the first two baby quilt creations from the flannels.  They were very cute and sold immediately!

We also had an order recently for a new design: pink and white squares with elephants.  It turned out very sweet and have already gotten orders for more.

This week a ladies Bible study in Pattaya, Thailand, invited me to join their Bible study, planned a lunch and invited me to sell quilts.  I had planned to take photos for the blog, but in the rush of people and quilts I totally forgot the photos!!  But it was a great time...met some wonderful ladies...and they purchased many quilts.  God continues to provide avenues for quilt sales and I am so grateful!!

New Quilts in March

Here are some new quilts the seamstresses made this month.  Our emphasis this month was to use lots of leftover fabrics.  I think they make the prettiest and most interesting quilts!

A couple of kaleidoscope quilts were made this month.  This one is green....the other is blue.

This "Annie" pattern makes such a colorful throw or twin bed quilt.

This is a new pattern this month made from lots of half triangles.

This is a beautiful king sized quilt made in various beige and brown fabrics.

February 2012 Quilts in Stock

 I haven't posted any quilts for awhile because we don't have any new patterns at the moment, but I thought I would show some of the quilts we have on hand....same patterns, but some new fabrics.

Rein made this lap size/child quilt in lovely blues.  

It measures 56" x 66"

A cute jungle baby quilt with elephants and tigers - made from flannels.

Measures 39" x 49"

This quilt made from sarong fabric is made from browns and neutral colors.  We aren't always able to get multiple sarongs exactly the same, but this time we did and were able to put a gorgeous border all the way around.

The "Springtime" quilt has been a success and we have gotten several orders for more.  Here is a twin bed size that we have in stock.

We continue to make the Cilla quilts.  They are now a larger lap size than before.  This one is also made from sarong fabric and measures 63" square.

We have a number of log cabin quilts in stock.  This is the beautiful teal flowers with a bit of gold and measures 56 1/2" x 70"

Sophoan has made several versions of this cross pattern.  This particular quilt is made of pretty light blue flowers with a bold burgundy strip on the border.  

This twin size quilt measures 67 1/2" x 84".

We continue to make "Americana" quilts every month...with several different versions.  

This is a twin bed size.

This is a lovely large king size quilt that measures 105" x 125".  It was too large to take around to the sales before Christmas, so I still have it in stock.  It looks beautiful on the bed.  Let me know if you're interested!!
