One Year Anniversary
October 2008 marked the completion of K13 Creations' first year of making quilts. Over 300 quilts were created - and most have been sold. We've learned a lot in this year, and hope we learn even more this next year! Priscilla returned in October to update the sewing ladies, review previous lessons, and introduce us to two new designs. Here are some photos of our time together:

One of the new designs they learned this month was created by Priscilla. The sewing ladies had trouble pronouncing Priscilla's name so we call it the "Cilla" design. These were are created with sarongs as the fabric.

New quilts in June 2008
We've started experimenting with sarong fabric and the ladies are producing some lovely quilts from that. Here are some samples:
